TAYLOR SWIFT'S PREVIOUS HOME

The Village has been home to many iconic artists over the years. They settle here because of the eclectic, bohemian energy that permeates every nook and cranny of this place. Back in the day, this area was also fairly affordable. Today's Village, however, is anything but…

Taylor Swift moved here while her Tribeca apartment was under renovation in 2016. And her rent was $39,500 dollars a month. Which is a deal, considering it spans 5,500 square feet and has an indoor pool, a rooftop terrace, and a private garage. The current value of the building, as of the summer of 2024... is $18 million dollars.

While many Swifties make a pilgrimage to New York expressly to take pictures in front of this extraordinary address, the reality is Taylor only lived here for a few short months.

It's what happened to her during that time that left a lasting impression... This was an era when she started dating British actor Joe Alwyn. Reminiscing on the romantic budding of their relationship, she actually wrote the song Cornelia St. several years after she'd moved back to Tribeca.

If you're wishing for a Taylor run-in while visiting this address, I'm going to have to dash your hopes. The lyrics to her classic serenade about Joe reads "I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends. I'd never walk Cornelia Street again"

They broke up in 2023.
